The Stirling SS2H4 siren builds on extensive experience as a market leader in emergency vehicle equipment. Featuring 4 tones:- Hi Lo, Yelp, Wail and Air Horn / Bull Horn override. This siren offers a cost-effective solution to any emergency vehicle application. Internal DIL switches allow easy selection of 2 or 3 tone operation, selection of 12 different tone sequences and a choice of Stop/Start or “2 Hit” horn ring control. An internal relay provides Horn ring transfer so external relays are not required and installation only requires a standby switch to activate the siren and operation is then controlled by the vehicle horn button. Standby mode automatically selects Horn Ring Transfer enabling the driver to control the siren with a tap of the vehicle horn button. The driver can then select tones in a repeatable sequence. The SS2H4 provides you a choice of two operating modes. In 2 Hit mode the sequence will repeat until the horn button is pressed twice in quick succession which then stops the siren until the horn button is pressed to begin operation again. ensuring ease of use in all situations. In Stop Start mode each operation of the horn button changes to the next tone, when the sequence is complete the siren will stop until the next button operation when the sequence will start again. The system comes wit a pre-installed PA facility, when used in conjunction with the optional PA/MIC Kit. It also provides an alternative control facility that can be used by the observer to operate the siren, or to override the siren to make voice announcements. Data recorder output included, providing indication of siren operation. Radio Transmit Mute input inhibits siren operation during radio transmission.
